Postgraduate Merit: These scholarships are aimed at taught postgraduate programs in all areas of the NUI Galway. In order to apply, you must be in receipt of an offer for one of the master’s programs offered by NUI. There are only 25 of them with a value of €2,750.

Sir Peter Freyer Special Merit: Two of these scholarships are available. With a value of €13,750, the scholarships are aimed at academic programs in science, bioinnovation and ICT.

Research Scholarships:Hardiman Research: With a stipend of €16,000, this scholarship offers opportunities for suitably qualified individuals to pursue a PhD on Social Sciences, Biomedical Science, Environment Marine, Humanities and Informatics. A scholarship that support the development of innovative individuals who will contribute globally, economically, culturally and scientifically.
